§ 31-136. Guest permits generally.

Any person who is eligible for a permit under section 31-135 may apply for a guest permit; provided that, only one guest permit shall be issued per dwelling unit. The guest permit shall be requested on an application form provided by the city clerk or his/her designee and such form shall be accompanied by a fee of $5.00 per guest permit. The guest permit shall be used only by temporary bona fide guests of the residence. Each guest permit shall expire on December 31 of the year for which it is issued, but it shall expire earlier than December 31 when the person who was eligible to obtain the permit no longer resides at, or owns, the property for which the permit is issued.
