§ 9-3. City clerk's duties.

The city clerk shall keep and maintain an official plat of each city cemetery and the original and official cemetery records of grave space(s) (also known as lots), conveyances, owners and interments of each cemetery. The city clerk shall collect and account for cemetery funds from the sale of grave space(s) or received from other sources and shall issue all cemetery deeds and permits as authorized by law or ordinance.
