§ 8-241. Denial, revocation, suspension of permits; appeal.

  • (a)

    The building official may deny, revoke, or suspend a permit issued pursuant to this article for the following reasons:

    (1)

    The requirements set forth in section 8-236 have not been met; or

    (2)

    The permit holder, or the permit holder's employees, contractors, agents or other persons responsible, fail to perform the activities provided for in the permit in compliance with the permit and/or city ordinances.

    (b)

    Any person who has been denied a permit under the terms of this article, or whose permit has been revoked or suspended, may appeal such action to the city manager by filing a notice of such appeal within seven days of the action with the city clerk. The city manager, in conducting such appeal, may enter such orders as are consistent with this article.
