§ 34-40. License term; transferability.

(a)

A license issued under this division shall expire on December 31 of the calendar year for which it was issued.

(b)

A license issued under this division is not transferable or assignable, and any fees paid are not refundable. However, if a licensee substitutes a new or different motor vehicle for a taxicab or livery vehicle listed on a valid and current license, the vehicle shall be substituted at no additional cost.
