§ 22-4. Possession of beverage containers.

  • It shall be unlawful, from 8:00 a.m. on any day that Kansas State University competes in an intercollegiate football game at Kansas State until 3:00 a.m. of the following day, for any person to possess any beverage container upon the streets, sidewalks, alleys, public parking lots, or other publicly owned and operated facilities within the Aggieville area of the City of Manhattan, Kansas, unless such beverage container is made of either plastic or paper. For the purposes of this section, the Aggieville area shall be defined as that area of the City of Manhattan, Kansas, which is zoned C-3. This section shall not apply to any bona fide delivery person who is delivering beverages to businesses in the Aggieville area in their original unopened containers in the ordinary course of business.
