§ 8-321. General regulations.

An alarm system that emits an audible sound or signal that may be heard outside of the protected premises shall conform to the following requirements:
(a)

The alarm system shall automatically discontinue emitting the sound or signal within ten minutes after activation of the alarm; and

(b)

Alarm systems shall not emit a sound or signal that is similar to that of an emergency vehicle siren or a civil defense warning system.
