§ 8-239. City officers to approve route and make other recommendations.

It shall be the duty of the building official, upon receiving an application for a moving permit to approve the route over or along which the building shall be moved. He may require the planking of streets, shoring up of bridges and such other requirements as he may deem necessary. It shall be the duty of the forestry and traffic supervisors to approve the moving of buildings and the route thereof and file evidence of the same with the building official.
