§ 8-3. Licensing authority.

The building official shall issue licenses for the contractors described in this article. Licenses shall expire on December 31 of odd-numbered years. Licenses shall be renewed and the license fees prescribed in the article shall be payable biennially on or before the tenth day of January after the year of validity, and shall not be prorated because part of the year has elapsed.
