§ 7-158. Minimum standards for noncommercial aeronautical activities.

Flying clubs:

(1)

Each flying club shall be registered as a nonprofit corporation with the secretary of state for the State of Kansas.

(2)

Each member shall be a bonafide owner of the aircraft, stockholder in the corporation, or partner in the partnership.

(3)

The flying club shall provide, keep current, and file with the airport manager a complete list of the flying club's membership and the investment share held by each member. This information shall be updated quarterly to maintain current requirements.

(4)

The flying club shall register all aircraft with the airport manager's office and provide proof of ownership.

(5)

The flying club's aircraft shall not be used by nonmembers for rental, nor by anyone for commercial activities.

(6)

All flight instruction to flying club members in flying club aircraft shall be given only by flying club approved FAA certificated instructors using flying club facilities.
