§ 31-36. Parking of vehicles by owners of leasing services on streets, alleys prohibited; fine for violation.

(a)

The governing body of the city finds that the parking of trucks, trailers, and automobiles by owners or operators of truck, trailer and automobile leasing services along the streets and alleys of the city can and does create traffic hazards and unduly inconveniences the citizens of the city.

(b)

The parking of commercial trucks, trailers, and automobiles by owners or operators of truck, trailer or automobile leasing services along the streets and alleys of the city is prohibited.

(c)

The said parking of each individual commercial truck, trailer, or automobile above described shall constitute a separate offense.

(d)

Any person who violates the provisions of this section shall, upon conviction thereof, be fined in any sum not exceeding $100.00, or be imprisoned not to exceed 30 days or be both so fined and imprisoned.
