§ 30-71. Snow and ice to be removed from sidewalks by abutting property owner or occupant.

It is hereby made the duty of the owner or the occupant of any lot abutting upon any sidewalk used by the general public to keep such sidewalk free from the accumulation of snow and ice. It shall be unlawful for the owner or occupant of such property to fail to remove all accumulated snow and ice from such sidewalks within 36 hours of the cessation of any measurable precipitation which has so accumulated.
