§ 23-86. Purpose.

It is the intent and purpose of this article to insure the conservation of public park lands, recreation areas, facilities, and open space areas within the city for the perpetual enjoyment of people of the city; to regulate activities within these areas consistent with the proper use and enjoyment of natural settings and park facilities; and to prevent any nuisances to the residents of the city, in the use of such public park lands, recreation areas and open space areas or in the enjoyment of private property adjacent to such areas. This article shall apply to all parks owned or leased by the city, dedicated to the city, or maintained by the city.
