§ 13-1. State fire marshal regulations and Life Safety Code applicable to child-care facilities.

(a)

The regulations of the state fire marshal and the provisions of the Life Safety Code, as adopted by the State of Kansas, shall govern and control in the life safety regulations and inspections of child-care facilities within the city, notwithstanding any contrary or conflicting provisions of other local codes.

(b)

A copy of this section shall be affixed to all official copies of the city's Uniform Building Code, Uniform Fire Code, and all other local codes as applicable.
